My name is Paul Aitken. At first making maple syrup was just a hobby. My grandfather and father made a few gallons on a stone fireplace outside
with a flat pan. Then Dave and I liked helping, so in our teens we made
about thirty gallons a year like that. Then when Dave started his
trucking business he couldn't help anymore. Then when i was around 16yrs old, I bought an evaporator
and put in a building. I kept growing a little each year. After I got married and had a kid, it turned into a family business!
